Hi Peter I have been following you on RUclips On your recommendation, I have purchased the same watch,it has been a nightmare, not just the long wait,when it came to pay the custom and Excise unable to complete the form to pay with my credit card ,in the form you have to choose your country (uk) it just wouldn't allow it I have emailed them several times, and the same thing keeps happening. I'm going to have to cancel order

I have the same hand lume issues on my Super Antarctic. Also Nivada Grenchen has the worst customer service I've experienced.

You are absolutely spot on putting an orange strap on an orange dial watch. Don't know why Nivada didn't come up with this in the first place 😅 This makes me remember, I still don't have an orange dial watch 😂

There Is no alternative to a Rolex unless you climb higher on the snob appeal ladder. But I wear my more economical watches way more often that my Rollies because they tend to be more fun whereas Rolex is more iconic.

The weak lume on the hands kills it for me. A 1000 meter dive watch should have blazing lume. It should knock your socks off.

Orange is Simon Sinek’s color. He is the founder of “The Optimism Company” and he associates orange to optimism. Since I’ve been following him on social media, I wear Orange-on-Orange as much as I can. Absolutely LOVE that color for its vibrance and association to optimism. Thanks for sharing Peter. It seems to be a rock solid build and never be shy to wear orange-on-orange 😊

Its is a great looking watch, I think they are on the right track. The problem is the level of accuracy for me is just ridiculous. I don’t understand how in this day and age we are still selling automatic watches for anything over about 700 uk that are not accurate to within COSC at the very least. I’m someone who thinks that if you buy something like a Seiko for about 1500 you should be looking at within 4 seconds a day.

I love my SKX. Wear it daily and it’s iconic and indestructible. I think it’s far more bizarre to pay £20K+ for a Rolex or any watch.

Oh that’s very nice. It’s not something I can buy nonchalantly but definitely attainable for me. I’ve always liked Panerai (ok that’s a lie, I like them because TGV likes them) but found them too large. Anyway. Thanks for the great review! I don’t have an orange watch, but I think I need to change that! Oh and I swim like a cinder block so the 1000m is completely useless to me. 😅

I really hate when keepers move. It drives me nuts when the end of the strap pops out of the keeper and it doesn't stay where I put it. I have the orange Tiisot Seastar 1000 and it's keepers stay put even though they are smooth so that's a bonus. But maybe that's what they were going for if they're a little rough those keepers they won't be moving around too much?
